Locked Car

Len parks his car, locks the doors and goes off for a walk in the park. After some time he returns to his car and realizes that he has lost his keys while walking in the park.

"Damn," he thought, "I'll never find them." Then he smiled, realizing he had a spare set of keys in the glove compartment. Seconds later, Len is driving home without having forced his way into the car.

He didn't break a window or seek any other assistance. So how did he get into the locked car?

The official answer was: It was a convertible car and although he had locked the doors, the roof was down so he was able to climb in and drive off - using the spare set of keys.

But I liked some of your answers better:

He called on-star to unlock the car!!

There are three possible ways he was able to unlock his car without breaking anything to get into his glove compartment.
1. Onstar satellite was able to unlock his door so he could get to his glove compartment.
2. Digital door coding - he can unlock by punching in the door code.
3. A key is hidden under his car to allow entry.

Len's got a VW Bug Convertible?

The car window was open.

Len found the keys on the door.

He left the windows down OR his car is a convertible.

Is it that the Windows were down or that it was a convertable? I guess it all depends on who owns it!

Easy. He called "On Star - GM".

He had his windows rolled down.

His windows were down.

the car is a convertable! thus he can get in without comprising his windows or require assistance from others

His window was rolled down

He has one of those cars that have a security code to get in his car...the key is only for starting the car...not getting in...

Len's an idiot. He forgot that he was driving a convertible car. The top was down and he could get his keys out of the glove compartment with no problems.

Len is a former Charmed one and has the power of telekinesis! muahahaha! He uses his mind to open the glove compartment and unlocks the door. Then he drives away! ahahahahh!

This was the long-distance mind-wandering answer:

Answer 1: His door was lock but his window was open.

Answer 2: It was a cold and gloomy day with the temperature being below zero that Mr. Len Pimpernickeldidley decided to go for a brisk stroll at the local park. He thought to himself 'hey I think I'll try my awesome new gloves with the built in glove compartment that I've purchased from the Sphincters Club of Spies R U Agency'. During his walk he accidentally went tumbling down a ravine but miraculously found himself alive as his accelerated descend was buffered by two gorgeous women with four large boobies who happened to be sunbathing at the bottom of the ravine. End of story... in the excitement he lost his key from his pants pocket but his spare was in his glove compartment. (Sorry I got called off so I had to end the story).

The Fantasy NBA answer:

two-and-a-half answers:
len yao, little brother of 7ft Yao, has a sun-roof and forgot to close
it...he can easily reach the glove compartment by tip-toeing...or,

len boykin, 5-ft brother of earl, can easily squeeze through the open
sun-roof.

or, len has a jeep-mobile with the plasticky windows, he can just peel open
the window.

And finally the HBA Stooge answer.

The answer is very simple. Len happens to be a cousin of our HBA graduates - Moe, Larry, and Curly. On that day, Len decided to take Christie's dog, Kimo, for a walk in the park. Not thinking at the time, he locked both Kimo and his keys in the car. Now faced with this problem, Len cleverly talked Kimo into opening a window so he can get into the car without breaking a window or getting any assistance. Unfortunately, Len was so happy to get Kimo out of the car that he accidentally locked the keys in the car again.
